Port Blair, May 19: The online link for submission of the Examination form for Term-End Examination June, 2023 session of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is open now with late fee of Rs.1100 plus exam fee per paper Rs. 200/-. The desirous students may visit the Regional Centre, Port Blair to submit the on-line exam form.

Port Blair, May 19: The Term-End Exam starts from 01st June, 2023 at all nine exam Centres located at: JNRM-Port Blair, Andaman College, MGGC-Mayabunder, BVB Mondal Public School-Diglipur, GSSS-Sabari, Rangat, Coast Guard Public School-Campbell Bay, GMSS-Nancowrie (Kamorta), GSS-Tamaloo-Car Nicobar and GSSS-Hut Bay. The Hall tickets for the June-2023 Term End Examination of the India Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been uploaded on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in. 

Power supply will remain suspended on May 20 at Outer & Tiger Feeder: Sippighat, Teylrabad, Bimblitan, Guptapara, Manjery,    Manglutan, Wandoor, Humferygunj, Dhanikhari, Chouldari, Ograbraj to Dundus Point and Tusnabad to Tirur, in connection with ABS replacement at Coffee Bagicha, Guptapara & Manglutan, fixing dropout set at 6 pole structure for Tirur, Namunghar & Ograbraj, HT Pole replacement at Sippighat, Namunaghar and Manpur & other T&D HT line clearance and ABS maintenance work at Badmas Pahad of Tiger and outer feeder.

Port Blair, May 19: As part of the Model Rocketry Programme of the ongoing Holiday Camp 2023, the students were taught about the invention of various stages of Rocketry development right from Sounding Rocket to its highly advanced version   and   the   future   developments   in   this   sector.   During the weeklong programme, the   students   prepared   different working models of rockets and launched them under the supervision of their master trainer.

Port Blair, May 18: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma along with a delegation of Anganwadi Workers called on the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration today.

During the meeting, the MP emphatically highlighted the challenges faced by Anganwadi workers due to the meagre salary they are getting. He said that these dedicated workers and tirelessly serving their communities day and night. They find it increasingly difficult to provide for their families under the current circumstances.
