Port Blair, Jan 14: The Bathubasthi Parking Place came alive with vibrant colours and festive cheer as Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands today led a joyous celebration of the Pongal festival.
The Community Pongal event, held this evening witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 500 enthusiastic ladies from the Tamil and Telugu communities.
