Port Blair, Sept. 14: The Andaman Association of Tour Operators led by its President Shri. M. Vinod is participating in the ongoing OTM trade fair in Mumbai. The fair is being held at Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra. OTM is the gateway to India's largest travel markets. It is the largest and most international gathering of travel trade buyers and professionals in India.

Port Blair, Sept. 14: Shri. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Secretary (RD&PRI)/Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman along with Shri. Dilkhush Meena, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, South Andaman visited the Wandoor Gram Panchayat on 14.09.2022 and inaugurated the waiting shed for 20 commuters with toilet facilities for Male, Female and differently abled citizens at Wandoor on 14.09.2022 under RURBAN Mission. The project has been completed at an estimated cost of `13,89,450/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakh Eighty Nine Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty only). The Secretary (RD)/Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman stressed that creation of assets is one thing but maintenance of the asset should be strictly taken into account. He further directed that Self Help Groups may also be involved for hygiene and sanitation and the asset may be maintained as a pay and use model.

Campbell Bay, Sept. 14: Dr. Nitin Shakya, Assistant Commissioner/SDM Campbell Bay inspected the health care facilities at Chingan village Health Centre. The Health Centre is functioning round the clock with all the basic medicines and one health care worker and medicine stock was also checked.
