Port Blair, Aug 25: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested for early release of compensation to the family members of the recent crocodile attack victim of Baratang Island.

In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament mentioned that on 05th August, 2022 a resident of South Creek Village of Baratang Islands, Mrs. Shoba Ekka lost her life in a crocodile attack, when she was fishing in a nallah of Beach Dera area of Baratang Island, Middle Andaman.

Port Blair, Aug. 25: All students of DBRAIT have been informed that as per Pondicherry University communication, the exam registration for 19T, 20T series regular batch students and 18TDL, 18TCL, 18TAL series batch students of ECE, Civil and CSE branches has been completed by respective Department on Aug. 25.

Port Blair, Aug 25: CPI (M) has demanded to resolve the issue of affiliation of engineering courses of DBRAIT, Dollygunj immediately.  In a letter sent to Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri D. Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI (M) A & N State Organising Committee drew the attention of the Lt. Governor to the agitation launched by a group of students in front of the DBRAIT gate at Dollygunj on the withdrawal of affiliation of engineering courses of the DBRAIT by the Pondicherry University.
