Port Blair, Jan 18: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed Shri John Robert at the Chairman Minority Department A&N Islands.

Shri. John Robert's hard work and dedication for INC in A&N Islands was recognized by the AICC with his appointment as the Chairperson.

Port Blair, Jan 18: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to issue directions to the concerned departments to schedule a ship for Nicobar District, especially Campbell Bay so that the stranded students can reach their home safely.

Port Blair, Jan 18: Protesting against the A&N Administrations failure to make transportation arrangements for inter-islander students, hundreds of students from different colleges took to the streets on Monday morning and protested in the IP&T Parking area.  They demanded the District Administration to ensure regular and timely boat service for transporting all inter-islander students.
