Port Blair, Sept. 28: A draft Recruitment Rules for the Group ‘C’ post of Surveyor/ Tracer of Port Blair Municipal Council has been published in the Administration’s website (www.and.nic.in/ www.andaman.gov.in). Suggestion/ objections, if any, on these rules may be furnished to the Secretary (UD), A&N Administration, Port Blair within a period of 30 days of its uploading in the website, a press release from Deputy Secretary (UD) said.

Port Blair, Sept. 28: Computer Based Test (CBT) has been conducted for recruitment to the post of Shift Engineer on 31.08.2023 and Pharmacist Grade-III on 01.09.2023. The answer keys for the above CBT will be uploaded online on 04.10.2023. The applicants have been advised to access the same through the web portal https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in and click on Answer Key link option, mention the registration number & date of birth by clicking on the candidate corner option, then click on the answer key option to verify their answer keys.

Port Blair, Sept. 28: The recruitment examination for filling up the vacant Group-‘B’(Non-Gazetted) post of ‘Assistant Fisheries Development Officer’ and Group-‘C’ post of ‘Fisheries Inspector’ in the Department of Fisheries, A&N Administration was conducted on 08.09.2023 (Friday) from 3 pm to 5.30 pm and from 9 am to 11.30 am respectively through the Computer Based Test(CBT) held at Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Dollygunj, Port Blair.

Port Blair, Sept. 28: The vessel MV Swaraj Dweep will sail from Port Blair to Kolkata on Oct.1, 2023 at 1000 hrs. Excess baggage will be loaded from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on Sept.30, 2023. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 0800 hrs on Oct.1 and will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel.
