Port Blair, Nov. 14: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President, Shri. Rangalal Halder has highlighted a pressing matter concerning the healthcare facilities in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, specifically in AYUSH Hospital and GB Pant Hospital.

In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Shri. Halder said that the patients in AYUSH Hospital, particularly those in need of physiotherapy, are facing challenges as the essential physiotherapy supplies & equipment are not being provided to the patients in the Hospital.

In a touching tribute to the first Prime Minister of India, Late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s Day, the children paid floral tributes, fostering a sense of respect and gratitude.

Mayabunder, Nov. 14: Children’s Day was celebrated by the District Child Protection Unit, N&M Andaman at Government Primary School Mayabunder today under the guidance of Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS Deputy Commissioner, N&MA. School students and staff of the DCPU, N&MA participated in the celebration. Rangat, Nov. 14: In a significant operation, the dedicated staff of PS Billiground consisting of SI M V Shiju Kumar, SHO PS Billiground, HCs Amritha Bawai, K. Sandeep, PCs A. Anandh Kumar, Nisha Mondal and HC (D) Vijay Kumar successfully seized 552 grams of illicit Ganja and apprehended the accused, identified as Jhantu Adhikari a resident of Harinagar.

Port Blair, Nov. 14: The National Book Week-2023 observance from Nov. 14 to 20, 2013 got underway at State Library, Middle Point today. As part of the observance, a ‘Book Exhibition’ is being organized at the State Library by the Education Department.
