Port Blair, March 10: Andaman Association of Tour Operators under the leadership of Shri M. Vinod, President AATO, celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2024 at Hotel Star Paradise, Marine Hill, Port Blair.
The function was graced by Smt. K. Chellammal, Padma Shri Awardee from the Islands as Chief guest.

Rangat, March 10: CITU Rangat Zonal Committee has organised a meeting of daily rated workers working in various departments of Rangat and nearby places today (10.03.2024) at Zilla Parishad Auditorium, Rangat, Middle Andaman.
Addressing the meeting, D. Ayyappan, Vice President, CITU State Committee elaborately explained the current status of the demands raised by various unions in APWD, Electricity, PRI, etc. Referring to the demands of the unions for regularization of the services of daily rated workers, he said that the Modi government at the centre has rejected the demand and informed the workers that the CITU has decided to launch a territory-wide agitation by mobilizing the entire workers in the coming months. He called upon the workers to remain united under the banner of CITU.

Port Blair, Mar. 10: The (Branch) MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Port Blair will be organizing and awareness program on MSME Competitiveness (Lean) Scheme at Port Blair on Mar. 12 & 13. The objective of the program is to make MSMEs aware about various Lean techniques that help in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs and also to provide information on Government assistance available in the scheme.
