Port Blair, Jan. 9: The A&N Islands State Haj Committee has invited online applications forms from the eligible persons for selection as Trainers for Haj-2024.  The applicant should fill the form online on the website of HCoI at https://hajcomittee.gov.in. The opening date & time for receiving online application is Jan.8, 2024 and the last date & time for receiving online application is Jan. 15, 2024. No offline application will be accepted by the Office of A&N Islands State Haj Committee.

Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has been selected for the prestigious Sansad Ratna Award for the third consecutive year. Out of 543 MPs in Lok Sabha and 250 MPs in Rajya Sabha five MPs have been selected for this prestigious honour, one among them is Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament of A & N Islands.

Port Blair, Jan. 9: Firing Practice will be carried out at Baffle Range on Jan.16 & 24 and at Chinthe Long Range on Jan. 20 for Small Arms Firing practice from 9.30 am to 1 pm & 2 pm to 5 pm (Day Firing) & 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm (Night Firing). All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their vehicle/livestock away from the firing range during the above mentioned date and time.
