Port Blair, June 28: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 188 passengers who arrived here yesterday, six positive cases have been detected. Today, 12 flights with 1718 passengers arrived, out of which, 1493 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 177 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Member of Parliament Inaugurates Manufacturing Unit of Sanitary Napkin Pad

Port Blair, June 27: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member Parliament, A&N Islands today inaugurated a manufacturing unit of sanitary napkin Pad under the scheme “MY PAD MY RIGHT” launched by NABARD in the premises of Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Union, Teylerabad yesterday in the presence of Shri. Manoj H, General Manager, NABARD, Port Blair, other distinguished guests and a large number of women who had assembled.

Port Blair, June 27: An event was organised by Andaman and Nicobar Islands Sea Food Exporters Association on 25th June at Dairy Farm to felicitate Shri. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP and Former State President BJP for taking up their burning demand for air cargo operation to transport the daily chilled fish from air cargo. The transportation was stopped since 17th May 2022.

Nagarathinam (42) yrs R/o Supply line, Port Blair and his wife Apsha Bibi (42) yrs are absconding from Port Blair alongwith a boy child namely Al Ambreen. M since 10/02/2021. In this regard, a FIR vide no. 108/22 dated 24/06/2022 u/s 363/34 IPC has been registered at PS Aberdeen and search of accused persons and missing boy is being conducted.
