Port Blair, June 28: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,83,563 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,583 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years and 13,272 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 years. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 27,378.

Member of Parliament Inaugurates Manufacturing Unit of Sanitary Napkin Pad
Port Blair, June 27: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member Parliament, A&N Islands today inaugurated a manufacturing unit of sanitary napkin Pad under the scheme “MY PAD MY RIGHT” launched by NABARD in the premises of Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Union, Teylerabad yesterday in the presence of Shri. Manoj H, General Manager, NABARD, Port Blair, other distinguished guests and a large number of women who had assembled.

Port Blair, June 28: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 188 passengers who arrived here yesterday, six positive cases have been detected. Today, 12 flights with 1718 passengers arrived, out of which, 1493 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 177 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Port Blair, June 27: In a small function organised at Community Hall, Delanipur, Shri M P Abdul Rasheed, Director, Ration Rasheed Foundation alongwith its members of felicitated six athletes, who participated and represented Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the National Muay Thai Championship 2022 in Madhya Pradesh. The championship was organized by Sports Muay Thai Association Madhya Pradesh from 16th June 2022 to 22nd June 2022.
