Port Blair, Jan. 2: The vessel Sindhu will sail from Port Blair to Chennai on Jan.4, 2023 at 1600 hrs from Haddo wharf. Excess baggage will be loaded from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on Jan.3 i.e. one day prior to sailing of the vessel. 

Port Blair, Jan. 2: The last date for Re-Registration for 2nd year/3rd /4th semester or 3rd year/5th /6th semester in Indira Gandhi National Open University's for January 2023 session, is extended upto15th January 2023. For online Re-registration, the students are advised to log on to https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/ for payment of 2nd year/3r  /4th semester or 3rd year/5th /6th semester fees through online. On the occasion of "New Year 2023", I extend my best wishes and warmest greetings to all the residents of A&N Islands.

New Year is an occasion to make a fresh beginning and renew our resolve for individual as well as collective growth. I am confident that in the upcoming year, our beautiful Islands will continue to progress on the path of peace and development, with the mutual cooperation and harmony. I hope that Islanders will continue to provide their invaluable support with determination and commitment for building #NewAndamans.

Port Blair, Jan 1: The National President of Indian Pharmacist Association (IPA), Shri. Abhay Kumar met the Hon'ble Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare, Government of India along with the delegation of IPA during the visit of the Minister in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

While discussing the matter related to the Pharmacy profession, the delegation handed over the two letters with the points to be taken up by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. In its letter IPA requested to take up the following steps for the betterment of the Pharmacy Profession in India.
