Port Blair, April 30: The entire delegates from Andaman & Nicobar currently on visit to NIT Jamshedpur, Jharkhand as part of the ‘Yuva Sangam phase-2 under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) programme today listened to the "100th episode of Mann Ki Baat" by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi along with NIT Jamshedpur team which was inspiring and extremely informative for the teams.

Port Blair, April 30: The 25th meeting of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board was held yesterday in the Conference Hall of the Office of the Labour Commissioner, A & N Administration, Supply Line under the Chairmanship of Shri B.S.Jaglan, IAS, Chairman, ANIBOCWWB/ Secretary (Labour& Employment), A & N Administration wherein Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman (through Video Conference), Shri Hemant Tirkey, Welfare Commissioner, Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour& Employment, Kolkata, representative of CE, APWD & NHDCL, Representative of Indian National Trade Union Congress & Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and officials from Office of Labour Commissioner attended.  During the meeting, various issues relating to extension of various social security assistances to the registered construction workers of the Board were discussed and the Chairman of the Board emphasised the need to ensure extension of benefits/assistances to the registered construction workers of the Board by way of faceless manner.
