Port Blair, Dec. 1:  As part of Navy Day Celebration, the Indian Navy will be organizing a Band Concert at Marina Park on Dec. 4 at 1715 hrs. Prior commencement of the concert, the naval ships will be illuminated off Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island. The concert is open for all visitors.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: As per Indian Meteorological Department’s weather forecast, heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Dec. 4 & 5. In anticipation of formation of low pressure area, fisherman of Andaman & Nicobar coasts have been advised not to venture into the sea from Dec. 4 till further notice.

Port Blair, Nov. 30: A three-day induction training programme for the newly elected representatives of A&N Islands organized by the State Panchayat Resource Centre (SPRC), Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, A&N Administration under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) of Ministry of Panchayati Raj, GoI got underway today in the auditorium of DBRAIT here. The training was inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS by lighting the lamp.

Port Blair, Nov. 30: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today called on the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) and highlighted some genuine grievances of employees of Government Saw Mill Betapur, Middle Andaman Forest Division & Chatham Saw Mill.

During the meeting the Member of Parliament informed the PCCF that during his visit to Betapur saw mill on 29.11.2022 the employees of the establishment met him and brought some of their genuine grievances in his notice.
