The leaders prayed to the Almighty to give peace to his eternal soul departed for heavenly abode and give strength to his bereaved family member to bear this irreparable loss.

Passenger tickets for the above sailing will be issued to the general public from 13.01.2023 (Fri) onwards at STARS Ticketing Counters.

Nalanda will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 17.01.2023 (Tue) at 1000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 19.01.2023 (Thu) at 0900 Hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry. Passenger tickets for the above sailing will be issued to the general public from 13.01.2023 (Fri) onwards at STARS Ticketing Counters.

Mayabunder, Jan. 7: Police Station Diglipur has once again shown their mettle by acting tough against drug peddlers. Keeping sharp vigil over the antisocial activities under the jurisdiction and based on reliable information received on Jan. 6 that a lady is in possession of illicit ganja, the raiding team headed by Inspr Vikash Singh, SHO PS Diglipur trapped the lady namely Pratima Mondal , W/o Shri Inderjit Mondal,  R/o Madhupur at Subashgram, Diglipur and recovered 513 gram of illicit ganja from her possession.

Port Blair, Jan 8: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India to start transmission of Vividh Bharati FM Port Blair (100.9) in all the remote Islands of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

In a letter addressed to the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, the Member of Parliament mentioned that FM 100.9 MHz being broadcast from AIR Port Blair has been declared as the 42nd FM Station of Vividh Bharati Network by Prasar Bharati. Accordingly, two hours of local programmes are being broadcasted from VB FM Port Blair in the morning and evening hours from 26.01.2019, the day when it was inaugurated.

Port Blair, Jan. 7: The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman/Chairman, District Health Society (SA), Shri Suneel Anchipaka today inaugurated the Maternity Home at campus of the G. B Pant Hospital, Port Blair in the presence of Shri Rahul D. Boora, IAS (P). The Director of Health Services, Director of ANIIMS, Joint MD-UTHM, MS-GBPH and other Officials from NHM, Health & APWD Department were also present.
