Port Blair, July 16: Due to poor rainfall during previous monsoon, severe drinking water shortages were felt in various places in A&N Islands, especially in South Andaman District. To mitigate the situation, an intensive exercise has been taken up by A&N Administration to identify the areas where water shortage was noticed during summer and augment water supply in those areas by developing local water sources in those areas itself.

Port Blair, July 16: On the 15th of July 2023, a mass of Youths from Port Blair Municipal area especially from the Aberdeen Bazaar area joined Pradesh Youth Congress under the leadership of its President Miss. Diksha Dular and Vice President Mr. Abhibhusan Ghosh.

Kuldeep Rai Sharma on Friday (14.07.2023) held a meeting with the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to discuss the pressing issue of the power crisis in A&N Islands. The meeting focused on identifying effective solutions to address the power shortfall.

Around 30 orphans participated in the training programme with great enthusiasm.
