Port Blair, Nov. 14: The National Book Week-2023 observance from Nov. 14 to 20, 2013 got underway at State Library, Middle Point today. As part of the observance, a ‘Book Exhibition’ is being organized at the State Library by the Education Department. Books ranging from novels, children’s literature, books on personality development, competitive exams, biography, cookery, mythology, fantasy, science fiction, books on modern maker of India besides books on history of Andaman and Nicobar Islands etc. have been displayed.

Port Blair, Nov. 14: All electricity consumers and general public have been informed that, to create safe corridors for electricity feeders and tie lines, the Electricity Department will exercise line clearance and pruning of dangerous trees standing near Panther-I and Panther-II Tie Line at Bambooflat to Wimberlygunj, Hopetown, Mathura, Brindavan, Ferrargunj to Jirkatang, Stewartgunj, Kanyapuram, Wimberlygunj to Shoal Bay on Nov. 16 between 7 am and 3 pm.
