Port Blair, June 13: The General Body meeting of the Clerical Cadre Branch of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association was held recently at Port Blair which elected the new committee of the branch for the year 2023-24.  Smti Usha Rajendran was re-elected as Vice President of the branch while Shri Salman Khan was elected as Secretary and Smti Geeta Surendran as Treasurer. Besides 01 Joint Secretary, 05 Organizing Secretaries, 01 Office Secretary and 10 executive committee members were also elected in the meeting.

Port Blair, June 13: Chinthe Long Range, Brichgunj will be used for Firing Practice on June 22, 2023 and Baffle Range on June 19 & 28, 2023 from 0930 hrs to 1300 hrs and 1400 hrs to 1700 hrs (day firing) and 1730 hrs to 1930 hrs (night firing) . All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their vehicle/livestock away from the firing range during the above mentioned date and time.

Port Blair, June 13: Handicrafts Service Center, Port Blair has invited applications from the eligible Master Craftsperson who have completed the age of 60 years on or before 31st March, 2023 for the year 2022-23 for financial support in indigent circumstances @ Rs.8,000/- per month. Master craftsperson who is the recipient of Shilp Guru Award, National Award, Merit Certificate or State Award in Handicrafts will be eligible for being considered for financial assistance.
