Shabir, City Congress President Shri. Mohammed Zubair, NSUI State President Mr. M.A Sajid, Congress leader Shri. Saji Varghese, Councillor Shri. Joga Rao, Shore Point Pradhan Shri. S. Port Blair, Aug. 26: World Coconut Day is celebrated every year on 2nd September across the world. The day is celebrated to highlight and raise awareness about the importance and benefits of coconut. Coconuts have multiple benefits and are one of the most versatile fruit. This day is celebrated every year in A&N Islands too. Like every year, this year also, the World Coconut Day will be celebrated by Agriculture Department in South Andaman.
