Port Blair, Oct. 25: A total of 4,82,235 doses of vaccines have been administered so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,72,535 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date. A total of 2433 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.

Port Blair, Oct 24: The Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank has added yet another feather to its cap by making the highest profit of the bank since last 55 years. The bank this year in spite of the pandemic crisis has achieved a milestone profit of Rs. 7.20 Crores. This was disclosed at the 55th General Body Meeting of the bank which was held at the Conference Hall of the bank’s headquarter today.

Port Blair, Oct. 24: The Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma today inaugurated the newly refurbished and renovated Consumer Cooperative Stores (CCS) Outlet at Aberdeen Bazar in the presence of Chairman, Secretary, Board of Directors and prominent and Ex Board Members of CCS Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, the MP congratulated the management for the successful completion of renovation of the CCS branch. He exhorted the CCS board to work enthusiastically in the service of the Islanders and bring back the lost glory of the organization and regain trust of the Islanders.

Port Blair, Oct. 24: On Sunday, acting swiftly to a call from Smt Manjit Kaur, Social Worker of Namunaghar area, the Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi reached the area and distributed health kits to the deserving children. The SOS from Manjit stated that the Children residing in and around Namunaghar Panchayat area are facing difficulties to get any supplements and nutritional food due to the harsh conditions faced by parents due to the pandemic.
