Port Blair, Oct. 13: A total of 4,60,702 doses of vaccines have been administered so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,71,496 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been administered one or two doses of vaccines. A total of 906 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.

Madurai, Oct 12: U.S. Consul General Chennai Judith Ravin visited Madurai today to interact with women micro-entrepreneurs supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Producer-Owned Women Enterprises (POWER) project, which creates employment opportunities and empowers women from marginalized communities. CG Ravin visited the project site along with Tamil Nadu Minister for Finance and Human Resources Management Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, exploring the opportunities to deepen the U.S-India partnership.
