Port Blair, April 28: Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency visited Air FM Radio Station at Car Nicobar, inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi today including that at Swaraj Dweep along with other 91 FM transmitters spread across 18 States & 2 UTs. Hon’ble Lt Govenor congratulated and highlighted the many benefits of the new FM station to the Islanders.

In this episode, the Hon'ble Prime Minister will reach out to the fishermen, fish farmer, beneficiary under PMMSY in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program through video conferencing. In this endeavour, the Department of Fisheries, A&N Administration will be organizing a programme at Fish Landing Center, Guptapara on April 30, 2023 from 10 am to 12.30 pm for screening of Prime Minister’s special ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Program.

World Veterinary Day is an annual event celebrated on the last Saturday of April to raise awareness about the importance of veterinarians and their contributions to animal health, welfare, and public health.
