Port Blair, Nov. 7: Sri Krishna Temple organized ‘Bhakti Geeta Malika Season 2’ at the Temple premises at Dairy Farm on 04/11/2022. A total of 20 participants participated in the program out of which Miss. V Gayatri won the first prize shield and Rs 5000 cash while Mrs. Kavitha Pandian won second prize, shield and Rs 3000 cash and Mr. Usman won third prize, shield and Rs. 2000 cash.

Port Blair, Nov. 6: The Ministry of Minority Affairs, GoI is implementing the Central Sector Scheme- Seekho Aur Kamao (Learn& Earn) for Skill Development of Minorities. The scheme aims at upgrading the skills of the minority youth in various modern/traditional vocations depending upon their educational qualification, present economic trends and the market potential, which can earn them a suitable employment or make them suitably skilled to go for self-employment. The scheme is implemented through selected expert Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs). It ensures placement of minimum 75% trainees, out of which at least 50% placement is in organized sector.
