Port Blair, Sept. 21: Due to administrative reasons, the announced scheduled of MV Swaraj Dweep for Kolkata via Mayabunder on 03.10.2023 at 0800 hrs from Port Blair and her return voyage from Kolkata to Port Blair via Mayabunder 10.10.2023 has been revised. Now, the vessel will sail directly to Kolkata instead of via Mayabunder on 01.10.2023 at 1000 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Port Blair on 11.10.2023 at 1400 hrs directly from Kolkata. Passengers those who are holding the tickets of MV Swaraj Dweep for Kolkata sailing have been advised to avail sailing as per the revised schedule.

Car Nicobar, Sept. 21: A team of Doctors (Ayurveda) and Para Medical Staff of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), a unit of CCRAS under Ministry of AYUSH, Port Blair will be conducting Free Ayurveda Health Camp and Survey at Mus, Kakana, Small Lapathy & Teetop Villages of Car Nicobar Island from Sept. 22 to Oct. 4, 2023.

Port Blair, Sept. 20: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has demanded release of ship schedules for Car Nicobar Islands 15 days in advance for the benefit of residents of Car Nicobar, Government Servants and other passengers.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament mentioned that the recent successful berthing of MV Sindhu and MV Nalanda at Car Nicobar has brought new hope for the residents of Car Nicobar Island.
