Port Blair, March 24: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has expressed deep concerns regarding the lack of commercial training centers for sports in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

In a letter addressed to the Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament pointed out that Indian Premier League, Indian Super League, and Pro Kabaddi League have become some of the most popular sports leagues in India, generating huge revenue and offering substantial financial benefits to talented sports persons.

As part of the observance, the Directorate of Health Services & UT Health Mission, A&N Administration organized a State level programme with the theme ‘Yes! We Can End TB’ at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Auditorium, PBMC here this morning. The Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Health), Shri Nikhil Kumar, IAS was the chief guest on the occasion. Hut Bay, March 24: The ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. G Bhasker and Chairman, Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey on Friday visited Farm Tikri village at Hutbay, Little Andaman and met several people of Chota Nagpuri community (Ranchi Community) under the leadership of Up-Sarpanch, Farm Tikri Mr. Kishore Tigga. The Congress leaders were accorded a warm welcome in the village by the Chota Nagpuri community as per their traditional culture.
