Port Blair, Sept. 11: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,341 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,970 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 459 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,68,743.

Port Blair, Sept. 11: One COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands from incoming flight passenger who arrived yesterday. Today, 10 flights with 1754 passengers arrived, out of which, 1645 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 85 passengers and the reports are awaited.  

Port Blair, Sept. 9: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to organize Flea Market and similar events atleast twice a month on weekends in prominent islands of Andaman & Nicobar for the entertainment as well as amusement of Islanders and promotion of Tourism.

Port Blair, Sept. 9: When everything has been said and done by the students whose careers are at stake, two of Andaman’s oldest associations i.e. Local Borns Association (LBA) and the Andaman Mopla Service Organisation (AMSO) have finally decided to take a call. The two associations are non-political and have come forward in true spirit to save the future of the students of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
