Island Food Festival 2026 to be Celebrated at ITF Ground from April 17-19

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 9: The Department of Tourism, A & N Administration is organizing the Island Food Festival 2026 with the theme “A Celebration of Taste, Culture & Tradition” from 17th to 19th April, 2026 at ITF Ground, Sri Vijaya Puram.

In this regard, it is informed that the last date for submission of applications for food stalls has been extended up to 13th April, 2026 till 4 pm. A large number of applications have already been received from food vendors, SHGs, restaurant owners, and departments.

However, 15 stalls are still vacant, and applications have been invited from interested individuals, hoteliers, restaurant owners, SHGs, State Cultural Associations, and NGOs to participate in the event for promoting the spirit of “Taste, Culture & Tradition.” Therefore, those who are interested to Sale or display the traditional Art & Handicrafts depicting the culture & tradition of the Islands can also apply for stalls/space.

1. State Associations & SHGs: Stalls will be allotted on rent-free basis

2. Food Stalls (Live Cooking): ₹4,500/- per day. Security Deposit Rs.6000/-

3. Food Stalls (Packed Food/Art & Handicraft): ₹3,500/- per day              

4. Open Space (Fun games / Bouncy / Promotion): ₹486.11/- per sq. mtr. for 03 days (e.g., 10 sq. mtr. = ₹4,861/-)

The allotment of stalls will be carried out through a lottery system, ensuring a fair and transparent process as per the terms and conditions outlined in the application form. The application forms along with detailed terms and conditions can be obtained from and submitted at the Operational Section, Directorate of IP&T, Sri Vijaya Puram.
