Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 2: Kannada Sangha of Sri Vijaya Puram celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava-2025 with great pomp and show on 1st November 2025 at their premises. All kannadigas in the city flocked in large numbers to express their gratitude and love for the state and language. Dr. Siddaraju, DDFW was the chief guest and the event was presided by Shri Naveen Chandra Bhat, president of the Sangha. The programme provided a platform to the young entrepreneurs of Karnataka rendering services in the Islands, to present their initiatives and inspire the GenZ towards entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs Shri Sainath R Shenoy of Mahalasa Agro Products and Shri Mohammed Aqeel spoke on this occasion. The celebration included singing of songs in Kannada, fun activities, dance, drama and dialogue deliveries from memorable films. The Kannadigas boys from the Indian Navy rendered a melodious state patriotic rendition mesmerising the gathering. The recitation of the Naadageete was the most memorable moment of the celebration. The programme was compered by Shri Nelson Almeida. The celebration concluded with a delicious dinner hosted by the Sangha.
