Sri Vijaya Puram, March 11: Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency reviewed a presentation by A&N Administration on various projects being undertaken under Sagarmala 2.0. Shipping and Port sectors having been identified as the principal driver of A&N Islands contribution towards attainment of Viksit Bharat objective, additional projects and schemes in Fishing and Tourism segment were also added. Hon’ble Lt. Governor directed that these projects need to be progressed on mission mode to ensure earliest operationalisation. The Chief Secretary and other senior Officers were also present.
