Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 15: As part of the ongoing Special National Integration Camp (SNIC), NCC cadets undertook an educational and exposure visit to Chidiyatapu Biological Park Beach under the leadership of Group Commander & Camp Commandant Col Hariteja. During the visit, the cadets had an enriching interaction with the Brigadier GP Singh Army Component Commander in the presence of Commanding Officer NCC ARMY Unit Col KY Singh, who addressed them on the role, responsibilities, and preparedness of the Indian Army, particularly in the island territories.
A key highlight of the visit was the display of the Infantry Combat Vehicle (BMP). Army personnel briefed the cadets on the operational capabilities, technical features, and battlefield role of the BMP. The cadets were given an opportunity to experience a BMP ride, which offered a firsthand glimpse into armoured vehicle operations.
