Diglipur, April 6: N&MA District Police organized a trekking expedition to Saddle Peak, the highest point in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, on 03 April 2026 as part of their ongoing commitment to building a drug-free society and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
A team of 27 police personnel successfully scaled the 732-metre peak, demonstrating determination, teamwork, and physical resilience. The initiative aimed to inspire youth and the general public to embrace fitness, mental strength, and outdoor activities as positive alternatives to substance abuse.
This effort forms an integral part of the broader “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan”, encouraging citizens to take collective responsibility in creating a safer, healthier, and drug-free society.
