In continuation of this office Notification No. 9-170/LS/2023/PF/5735 dated 11.12.2025, In exercise of power conferred under M.V. Act 1988 (Act No.59 of 1988) read with Administrations Notification No. /2008/F.No.32-95/2008-TR. Dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman hereby notifies for the information of all concerned that the VVIP visit is scheduled in A & N Islands from 11th December to 12th December, 2025.
In this regard, to avoid inconvenience to the general public, the following routes will remain under temporary traffic restriction and under regulated movement as follows:
1. 11.12.2025: (1400 hrs to 1600 hrs and 2100 hrs to 2200 hrs)
a. VIP Road, Airport, Dollygunj Road.
2. 12.12.2025: (09.30 AM to 08:00 PM)
a. VIP Road, Netaji Stadium, Marina Park Road, Police Lines, Airport Road, Dollygunj, Bathu Basthi Road & Chidyatapu Road.
The emergency vehicles approaching from Garacharma towards Aberdeen Bazaar shall use the Attampahad-Dollygunj route. On all other routes, emergency vehicles will be facilitated through the restricted corridors, if required.
Further, it is clarified that no route will be closed or blocked at any time, and regular traffic movement will continue as usual. These measures are temporary and are intended solely to facilitate orderly traffic conditions.
