One-Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme Conducted by MSME Department

Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 23: The Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office under Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, Sri Vijaya Puram organized a One Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme on 22.01.2026 at

Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), Sri Vijaya Puram to create awareness among aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and local youth about entrepreneurship and MSME schemes.

The objective of the programme was to promote entrepreneurial culture, motivate potential entrepreneurs, and apprise participants about institutional and financial support available under various MSME schemes. A total of 62 participants attended the programme out of which around 60% of participants were from ST Community.

Shri Rakesh B. Pangat, DGM, NABARD, Sri Vijaya Puram, Shri Ravi Shankar, Shri G.K. Sinha, Assistant Director In-charge, Branch MSME-DFO, Sri Vijaya Puram, Lead District Manager, SBI, Sri Vijaya Puram, Shri Shahid Khan, Assistant Director, Directorate of Industries, Sri Vijaya Puram, Dr. Pearl Devdas, Principal, JNRM, Sri Vijaya Puram were participated in this event.

Shri. G.K. Sinha delivered the welcome address and theme presentation highlighting various government support and schemes available for development of entrepreneurship and MSMEs. The dignitaries from SBI, NABARD, and Directorate of Industries also shared valuable insights regarding financial assistance, credit linkage, and support mechanisms for entrepreneurs and employment generation. During the technical session, a detailed presentation on MSME schemes was delivered by Branch MSME-DFO. The programme concluded with an interactive Question & Answer session, followed by a vote of thanks.

The participants appreciated the initiative and found the programme informative and motivating.
