Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 4: The One Stop Centre, Directorate of Social Welfare in collaboration with the District Hub for Empowerment of Women, organized an awareness programme on women-related schemes & laws and cyber laws recently at Kamaraj School, Brookshabad.
Ms. Rukhsar Rahim, Para Legal Lawyer, One Stop Centre, briefed the participants on various types of cybercrimes. During the session, the Resource Persons shared important helpline numbers including Women Helpline 181, Child Helpline 1098, and the Cybercrime helpline 1930 and One Stop Centre Contact No.03192-234221
Smti. Jyoti, Sub-Inspector, explained the POCSO Act, its key provisions, and how the law protects children from offences. Earlier, the Principal, Kamaraj School, Smt. Beena welcomed the gathering.
