Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 11: Shri. Arun Singh, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, who was on a visit to A & N Islands in connection with a Parliamentary Committee Meeting at Swaraj Dweep during the last two days. Amid his tight schedule of meetings, Shri. Singh today (10/01/2026) visited Dr. Shyama Prashad Mukherjee Bhawan (BJP Office), Middle Point, Sri Vijaya Puram and met the office bearers and prominent members of BJP at 09:00 am.
While addressing the party workers, Shri. Singh motivated everyone to actively work to fulfil the vision of Shri. Narendra Modi, in making our country a developed country by 2047. Further, while speaking to the party karyakartas he remembered the contributions of the freedom fighters like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Veer Savarkar among others in the Bharat’s freedom struggle. He further added that numerous freedom fighters have shed their blood and sweat and have sacrificed their life in this holy land, hence it is a land of pilgrimage for all those who love this country.
He also touched upon various aspects of BJP organizational works that are to be carried forward in the days to come. Later Shri. Arun Singh Ji also addressed a Press Conference and spoke on the various salient features of Modi government’s Flagship programme named VB-G-RAM-G. He said that this programme includes increased work man-days from 100 to 125 days and hence this will improve the rural economy in a big way. Similarly, this programme will also see a drastic change from the previous pattern of small works to a new pattern of augmenting and constructing rural infrastructure for the development of villages. Responding a question regarding allegations by the opposition on VB-G-RAM-G, he said that the opposition parties are always engaged in negative politics and are playing in the hands of International Mafia to tarnish the image of Modi government. He said that the new scheme is being welcomed by the rural people as it is going to benefit the villagers largely, but the opposition is worried because they see the erosion of their support bases in rural villages.
He also spoke on various other aspects of Modi Government and alleged that due to the negative politics the congress party in particular is going to be washed out from the country very soon.
