Diglipur, Dec. 16: The Block Project Office, Diglipur Inclusive Education under Samagra Shiksha organized a one-day orientation programme on ‘inclusion of children with hearing impairment’ at GSSS Kishorinagar, Diglipur. Inaugurating the programme, Shri Kalashashi Sarkar, Vice Principal, GSSS Kishorinagar highlighted the importance of inclusive education and early intervention for children with hearing impairment.
Seven sessions were conducted during the programme which were focused on basic communication skills and intervention strategies, including vision stimulation therapy and the use of cochlear implants.
