Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 26: First time in the history of martial arts in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Pencak Silat was proudly included in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Beach Games 2025, securing its place as the only martial art discipline among the listed sports.
The event was held from 19th to 21st December 2025 at Corbyn’s Cove Beach, South Andaman District, Sri Vijaya Puram, and was organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Pencak Silat martial art is also included in the National Level Beach game 2025 last time and will also be included in the 2026 Beach game.
Pencak Silat Association has congratulated the Medal winners and also appreciated all participating athletes for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship. The Association had special appreciation to the organiser of the Pencak Silat Beach Game, Er. Logarjun M, student and son of the Global Academy of Modern Fitness Founder, Shri M. S. Murugan.
