Pledge Ceremony Organised at MGGC Under ‘Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan’

Mayabunder, April 12: A Pledge Ceremony was organized at Mahatma Gandhi Government College (MGGC), Mayabunder during the Youth Festival, under the nationwide initiative “Nasha Mukta Abhiyaan”, aimed at promoting a drug-free lifestyle among youth. Dr. R. V. R. Murthy, Principal, MGGC, Mayabunder, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of a drug-free life. The pledge was administered by Dr. Priyanka Iqbal, GDMO (Ayurveda), Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder who sensitized the students on the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of making responsible life choices.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from more than 460 students, who collectively took a pledge to abstain from drugs and contribute towards building a healthier and addiction-free society. The initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Administration towards safeguarding the well-being of young individuals and fostering a culture of healthy living.
