Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 12: The Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office, Dollygunj Industrial Estate, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, in coordination with the A&N Administration, will organise a two-day PM Vishwakarma Exhibition-cum-Trade Fair on Feb. 14 & 15. The event will be held at Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Sri Vijaya Puram, from 10.30 AM to 9.30 PM on both days.
The exhibition aims to showcase the talent, craftsmanship and traditional skills of local artisans associated with the PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Visitors will get an opportunity to witness live Vishwakarma craft demonstrations, explore traditional and unique artisan products, and learn about various Government initiatives and schemes designed to support artisans and small entrepreneurs.
A special Udyam Registration Camp will also be organised during the event to facilitate on-the-spot registration for eligible entrepreneurs.
The event will feature a range of activities including awareness programmes, buyer-seller meets, quiz competitions, handicraft and food stalls, and cultural programmes, making it both an informative and vibrant public gathering.
Officials have informed that entry to the exhibition is free, and members of the public are encouraged to attend in large numbers and support local artisans while experiencing the rich traditional crafts of the Islands.
The exhibition is expected to provide a valuable platform for artisans to connect with buyers, enhance market linkages, and promote the spirit of self-reliance and entrepreneurship in the Union Territory.
