Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 19: The Hon’ble Prime Minister released the 21st installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme amounting to Rs18000 crore for more than nine crore farmers across the country from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
The PM-KISAN Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme introduced in February 2019 to help landholding farmers throughout the nation with their financial needs under this initiative, farmers bank account linked to their Aadhaar numbers receive direct benefit transfers Rs 6000/- per year, in three equal installments. During the 21st installment,12851 eligible farmers of these Islands are to be benefited with Rs 2.617 crore.
Since the Government of India has made eKYC, Aadhaar seeding with bank account and land seeding mandatory for all the PM-KISAN beneficiaries. It is requested that all the eligible PM-KISAN beneficiaries who have so far not done their eKYC, Bank account seeding with Aadhaar and land seeding, to complete the process at the earliest.
Further, all the left out eligible farmers of these Islands who have so far not registered under the PMKISAN scheme to enroll themselves and avail the benefits under the PM-KISAN scheme.
