Sri Vijaya Puram, March 2: It is to bring to the notice of the general public and PRI members of the Gram Panchayats of Sippighat, Calicut, Wandoor, Guptapara, and Humphrygunj that, as desired by the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, A&N Islands Constituency, during the DISHA Meeting held on Feb. 25, a Public Hearing will be conducted under the South Andaman District Administration as per the following schedule:
07.03.2026 – Community Hall, Sippighat (Gram Panchayats: Calicut & Sippighat)
08.03.2026 – Community Hall, Wandoor (Gram Panchayats: Wandoor, Guptapara & Humphrygunj)
The Public Hearing will commence from 10 am onwards to address the grievances of the general public of the concerned Gram Panchayats. All PRI members, and residents/ villagers are requested to attend as per the above schedule.
Prior to the Public Hearing, a Yoga Programme will be organized for the villages at the respective venues from 7 am to 8 am by the District Health Society, South Andaman, in coordination with the Health Department. Officials and members of the general public are requested to participate in the programme.
After the Yoga Programme, the team along with officers/officials of various departments, will visit Anganwadi Centres, Schools, PHCs, and other departmental infrastructure. The Public Hearing will thereafter be conducted as scheduled.
