Rangalal Halder Urges Special Consultation Facility for Patients Age Above 70 years at GB Pant Hospital

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 17: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Shri. Rangalal Halder has appealed to the Director, ANIIMS, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, to provide special consideration for patients above 70 years of age visiting GB Pant Hospital for medical consultation.

In his appeal, Shri Halder stated that senior citizens often face great difficulty for waiting in long queues to consult doctors, surgeons, and specialists due to their advanced age and health conditions.

He has requested that the patients above the age of 70 years may kindly be allowed to consult doctors and specialists without waiting in long queues, after completing the basic registration process. He added that “Allowing such patients to directly enter the consultation chamber would greatly reduce the physical strain faced by elderly patients and ensure that they receive prompt medical care”.

Shri Halder further urged the Director, ANIIMS, to issue necessary instructions to the concerned authorities at GB Pant Hospital so that suitable arrangements may be made in the interest of the elderly population of the islands.
