Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 1: Shifting of 2 Nos gravity main line from Dhanikhari Dam to Lambaline Treatment Plant is under progress. Interconnection of existing gravity main line with newly laid 450 mm gravity main line is planned to be taken up on 02.08.2025 and 03.08.2025. Therefore, raw water supply to Lambaline Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant at Garacharma is likely to be affected during this period.
It may also affect water supply in Municipal area served by Command tanks of Buniyadabad, Garacharma CWR complex during this period. All efforts are being made to limit public hardship to minimum. Officials of SVPMC have been requested to plan distribution during this period accordingly.
General public is also hereby advised to conserve water and use drinking water judiciously. Tanker water supply will be available from Jawahar Sarovar during this period.
