Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 11: The State Library has launched a special initiative to encourage and nurture reading culture among children and senior citizens. To make reading a more enjoyable and rewarding experience, the library is introducing a unique ‘Read a Book, Get a Gift Free’ program. Under this initiative, senior citizens will be welcomed with complimentary tea, while children will receive chocolates as tokens of appreciation for their love for reading. This program aims to create a warm, inviting, and motivating environment that inspires exploring the joy of reading with small but meaningful rewards. By introducing this unique incentive, the library hopes to nurture lifelong reading habits among people of all ages.
The State Library has invited citizens to visit the Library and experience these special offerings, that come with every page turned.
Meanwhile, the timing of Library has been extended by one hour in the evening. It will now remain open from 9 AM to 8 PM.
