Review Meeting on Implementation of SC Reservation Policy in AAI held at Sri Vijaya Puram

Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 6: A meeting to review and monitor the implementation of the Reservation Policy for Scheduled Castes (SCs) in the Airports Authority of India (AAI) was held on October 6, 2025, at Sri Vijaya Puram, under the aegis of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC).

The meeting was chaired by Shri Kishor Makwana, Hon’ble Member, NCSC. The agenda focused on the status of reservation for Scheduled Castes in recruitment, promotions, and welfare measures in AAI.

Senior officials from AAI participated in the meeting, including:

•Shri Vipin Kumar, Chairman, AAI

•Dr. H. Srinivas, Member (HR), AAI

•Mrs. Nivedita Dubey, RED-ER

•Shri Devender Yadav, Airport Director, VSI Airport

•Along with other senior AAI officials

During the meeting, AAI representatives presented data and insights on the current implementation status of reservation policies for SC employees. The Hon’ble Chairman, Shri Kishor Makwana, stressed the importance of strict adherence to the constitutional provisions and called for continued efforts to ensure equity, transparency, and timely compliance in all HR processes.

The session also included discussions on challenges, best practices, and future action points to strengthen the effective inclusion and representation of SC communities within AAI.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment between NCSC and AAI to uphold social justice and strengthen institutional mechanisms for the empowerment of Scheduled Castes in the aviation sector.
