Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 18: The SAI, STC Sri Vijaya Puram is going to conduct selection trials for inducting athletes under the Residential Scheme in the disciplines of Football (Girls), Kayaking & Canoeing and Rowing in the age group of 10 to 14 years at Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram on 28th February, 2026.
Those sportspersons, who are in the age group of 10 to14 years (born between 28st Feb, 2012 to 1st Mar, 2016) are eligible for the selection trials, selection will be on the basis of age verification, battery of test, skill test of specific discipline, medical fitness and minimum height criteria for water sports boys:165cm & girls:160cm.
The facilities provided under SAI, STC Residential scheme are free lodging & boarding, Sports kit, Competition Exposure, Educational Expenses and Medical Insurance.
Those sportspersons willing to attend the selection trials should report at Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram on 28th Feb., 2026 at 9.30 AM along with the following documents viz. Original birth certificate, Aadhaar card, Sports certificate (Priority to State and National level medalists/ participants), Four passport size photo & Medical Fitness.
