Diglipur, Sept. 15: Government Senior Secondary School, Diglipur, hosted a vibrant Science, Mathematics, Arts & Craft Exhibition under the “Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan – Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani”, showcasing students’ creativity, innovation, and scientific spirit.
Shri P. R. Singaram, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Subashgram, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Smti. Sulochana, DEO Diglipur, attended as Guest of Honour. Other dignitaries included Shri Pradeep Das, Jila Parishad Member (R.K. Gram), Vidyanjali volunteers Shri Bablu Debnath and Shri Samir Das, and members of the SMDC.
The event began with a floral welcome, a melodious song by students, and a welcome address by the Principal. A traditional lamp-lighting ceremony marked the formal inauguration. Guests then visited the stalls where students displayed scientific models, mathematical projects, experiments, and artistic works, reflecting both academic excellence and imagination.
In his address, the Chief Guest lauded the school’s efforts in promoting holistic development and congratulated the students for their dedication. He stressed the importance of such platforms in nurturing innovators and future leaders.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Smti. Kalyani Halder. The exhibition was widely appreciated for fostering innovation, creativity, and teamwork, leaving an inspiring impression on the community.
