Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 3: Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council will be organizing the Street Food Festival–2025, scheduled to be held on Dec. 6 & 7 from 3 PM to 10 PM near Marina Park. The festival aims to offer a vibrant showcase of the rich culinary heritage and diverse flavours of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The Street Food Festival–2025 seeks to promote safe and hygienic street food practices, support local entrepreneurship and create an engaging cultural experience for both residents and visitors. The festival will provide a valuable platform for local vendors to display their culinary skills, thereby encouraging community-based economic development and enhancing livelihood opportunities.
This two-day event will feature an array of traditional and innovative dishes, live demonstrations and interactive sessions aimed at highlighting the importance of clean and sustainable food vending practices. The festival is expected to emerge as a major attraction, celebrating local flavours while strengthening community participation and pride.
