Sri Vijaya Puram, May 29: The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, A & N Administration, in association with Mr. Youday is all set to host a thrilling Arm-Wrestling Tournament on 31st May 2025 at Marina Park, Sri Vijaya Puram. The event will kick off at 3:00 PM and promises to be a spectacular display of strength, stamina, and sportsmanship. The tournament is open to all aspiring arm wrestlers, sports & fitness enthusiasts across the islands.
This event is more than just a contest—it’s a movement to promote strength-based sports and inspire young athletes to embrace healthy, competitive lifestyles. Participants will battle it out in six distinct weight categories to ensure fair play and thrilling matchups:
• 45 kg to 55 kg
• 55 kg to 65 kg
• 65 kg to 75 kg
• 75 kg to 85 kg
• 85 kg to 95 kg
• 95 kg and above
• Overall Champion
Winners in each category will be awarded trophies, medals and certificates of merit, recognizing their skill and dedication
