Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 12: Tagore Government College of Education (TGCE) observed National Youth Day with reverence and enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The programme began with floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda. The programme motivated students to reflect on their roles as responsible citizens and future educators, encouraging them to channel their energy towards nation-building and personal excellence.
An introductory speech highlighted the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals for today’s youth while the cultural segment included a graceful classical dance, a poetry recitation on Swami Vivekananda, and screening of a video depicting his life and teachings. A skit on Swami Vivekananda was also presented followed by a narration-based instrumental dance.
